Art Walk is TOMORROW, Merrickville!

Rain or shine, we’re painting the town with colour tomorrow from 11am–4:30pm on Main Street West!
The forecast is looking gorgeous through the afternoon with rain expected around 4:45pm so come early, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy the whole walk before a drop falls!

GiGi Quack has checked the forecast herself and given tomorrow two webbed feet up she’ll be waddling by 1840 Guest House if you want to say hi! Take a selfie with GiGi and Give your donation for our local Food Bank!

A gift beyond words!

A Legacy That Lives On With Us

Some of you have painted on an easel with a story behind it,invented by artist Yolanda Marcoux, who was tired of traditional easels failing her on uneven ground while Plein Air painting. So she designed her own: adjustable, adventurous, made for painting outdoors anywhere.

Yolanda passed away in 2023, but her spirit lives on every time one of her easels is set up at our Merrickville Art Walk, loaned to us with such generosity by our wonderful neighbours the Township of Montague, thanks to her daughter Gina’s dedication.
Today, I have the privilege of painting at Yolanda’s very own easel. I can feel the warmth, the energy, the excitement of her presence with me and I noticed she loved the very same aqua colour that I do. It’s a small thing, but it feels like a quiet connection across time, one artist to another.

THE SKIES ARE CLEARING
ART WALK IS TODAY!

After days of rain, Merrickville is about to shine Main Street West is ready to transform into a living outdoor gallery, and we cannot wait to see you there!

**Today, 11am–4:30pm**

**New artists joining us this month** fresh talent, new mediums, new stories to discover as you stroll the street

**Special premiere alert:** GiGi is making her Art Walk debut today her very first show! Come welcome her and see what all the quacking has been about! Get your camera ready!

Don't forget your Merrickville Art Walk Passport!
Pick one up and get it stamped at every stop along the Walk. Once it's full, bring it to Maureen’s gallery at 106 St. Patrick Street to enter the draw for one of my original paintings a beautiful way to bring a piece of today home with you.

Rain-washed streets, fresh air, incredible art, and a whole lot of community heart. This is what Merrickville does best.
