đźšś Meet the Newest Member of the Battle River Pioneer Museum Family! đźšś

We’re excited to introduce “Steamy,” a 1912 Gaar-Scott 25–75 Horsepower Steam Engine, the newest addition to the Battle River Pioneer Museum’s collection!

Steamy was purchased from Mr. Jim Evans, a longtime Peace Country (Fairview) resident who was excited to see this remarkable piece of history stay local and find a new home at the museum.

A heartfelt thank you to Jim for sharing your knowledge, inspiration, and for helping make this possible. Your generosity helps preserve our heritage for future generations to enjoy.

Steamy will be arriving at the museum on Monday, and we can’t wait to welcome this impressive engine to its new home. Be sure to keep an eye on our page for updates and photos once it arrives!

We are busy on the grounds, folks are visiting and we are getting ready for the Heritage Day parade, pancake breakfast and making sure everything is ready for you!
We have a “Steamy”addition to the Museum in the next couple of days!
We are excited to showcase this so stay tuned to see as this big guy makes his entrance!

Our annual event is happening Aug. 2, if u would like to volunteer in the food booth, bake a pie or a hand please reach out .
