Comunn Gàidhlig is Eachdraidh Mhàbu / Mabou Gaelic and Historical Society is looking forward to welcoming you throughout the month of May to help us celebrate Mìos nan Gàidheal - Nova Scotia Gaelic Month!
On Tuesdays, (May 5, 12, 19, 26), at 10:00 AM, you will have a chance to practice your Gaelic when you join us for Tì is Cabadaich - Tea and Conversation at An Drochaid hosted by Gaelic speakers from our Gaelic Committee. Come and chat with the neighbours or just listen to pick up a few Gaelic words. Na bi diùid!
And on Thursday evenings, come to listen to the voices of some Gaelic speakers who are no longer with us. Dougie MacPhee, Gaelic Committee member, will treat us to some selected recordings from local Gaelic speakers from around Mabou and Broad Cove with explanations. There will be different recordings each week. Gaelic and English will be spoken.
