June is National Indigenous History Month! Come in to An Drochaid and check out our central display on local Mi'kmaq stories. Only on display for the next couple weeks so don't wait!

It was a lovely night with JP Cormier last night, with lots of personal stories and special moments. Thanks to one and all who came to the theatre for the show! Now we are getting ready to host a new Ships of 1801 Society production featuring Margaree's own Father Moses Coady! Mabou Cèilidh days is fast approaching and that means so is our Luadhadh Mór!

On Saturday, July 4 at 1:30 PM, come on over to An Drochaid Museum following the Cèilidh Days parade and enjoy some Gaelic songs, conversation, and of course, a good cup of tea! Admission $10. Singers and children are admitted free.

Comunn Gàidhlig is Eachdraidh Mhàbu / Mabou Gaelic and Historical Society is pleased to be hosting another historic walk this year called “Spinning a Yarn” to help kick off Mabou Ceilidh Days.

On Thursday, July 2, at 6:00 PM we hope you will join us as we gather at the site of the former Glendyre Mills and learn the history, impact and importance of these mills to our community. Refreshments will be served.
