This piece is made from white pine and is coated with spar varnish and requires annual re-coating if outdoors. It is 25” tall, 19” wide, and about 12” deep.

A recent on-site carving in the Region of Queens.
This piece was unique in that the Center was decayed and diseased & and I had to do something radically different from most onsite work. Usually I only work with very healthy wood, but made an exception since the tree had historical significance to the family. In the end I was able to remove all decay and was left with a very solid piece of wood.

This Saturday I will be at the Privateer Farmers and Artisans Market in Liverpool. I will have an assortment of carvings with me and am available for custom commissions. If you are in the Region of Queens, it is one of the things to do on a Saturday morning in this area.
I will have items from $50 and up with me and hope to meet a bunch of new people!
