💍 Stacking or Rolling Rings Workshop — Tuesday, July 7th

We are so excited to be hosting jewelry artist Kristin Moore for a hands-on sterling silver ring-making workshop right here at The Art Shoppe.

Kristin will guide you through crafting your very own set of three handcrafted sterling silver stacking or rolling rings — measuring, cutting, texturing, hammering, and soldering each one into its final form. No experience whatsoever is required. All tools and materials are provided, just bring yourself and a desire to create.

We are so excited to be hosting Marybeth Maltby of Marybeth Rocks for an afternoon of Mandala Dot Art right here at The Art Shoppe.

Marybeth will guide you through creating your very own mandala on either a rock or a wooden disc — it's relaxing, it's fun, and no experience is required. All supplies are included, just bring yourself and a desire to create.

We couldn't let this pass without saying thank you. 🗞️🎨

The Bruce Peninsula Press featured The Art Shoppe in this week's edition and finding ourselves on the front page was a genuinely lovely moment for us. We are so grateful for the warm welcome since opening at our new Lion's Head location.

Using fresh flowers from Forty Hills Farm and Flowers as inspiration, instructor Suzanne D**e will guide you through the basics of painting florals with watercolours. Each participant will create two original art cards, complete with envelopes.

What an afternoon. 🎨

A huge thank you to everyone who came out yesterday for Emy's opening reception. The shop was full of wonderful people, great conversation, and of course Emy's incredible work on the walls.

It was our first reception here at our new Lion's Head location and it couldn't have gone better. We feel so lucky to be part of this community.

A special thank you to Emy — your work is a gift and we're so happy it found a home with us. 🙏
Emy's solo room is with us through the end of June — after that her work joins our main gallery permanently. If you haven't seen it in person yet, her solo show is worth the visit while it lasts.
