As an artist I never want to stop exploring, trying new things and never become afraid to fail at things.

I got the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and try new techniques and learn from this winter. Which resulted in me exploring some different things and playing without worrying about making the end result perfect.
•
After multiple reglazes, I am happy with how these Colors are popping and interacting and I look forward to exploring more layering in the future.
•
I have a few of these mugs left at the lacombe encore sale today from 11-5pm at lacombe memorial center.

Quietly working away in the studio after a full stretch of teaching, taking a class myself, and easing into market season ✨

Lately I’ve been focusing on:
• A large collection of custom pieces — I feel incredibly grateful to be trusted with the gifts you give, the pieces you bring into your homes, and the meaning behind them. It’s never something I take lightly.

• A spring series of mountain mugs, exploring birds and experimenting with mason stains to dye my clay body — a process that feels both playful and grounding after a season of artist block.

• Getting ready for the Lacombe Encore Art Sale (April 17–18 | 1–8pm & 11–5pm).

I’m so excited to share some of these new explorations with you there. For now, an old photo of my northern lights mountain mugs — still a favourite ✨

The last four markets at have been so wonderful. As my cup feels so full after this weekend’s market, I wanted to share a few things I’m grateful for:

✨ I saw my high school art teacher—the one who started my creative journey 15 years ago. She showed me how art could impact me in a way that shaped my whole life and inspired my future endeavors.

✨ One of my mugs is flying to Scotland! 🛩️🌎

✨ I am so supported by my friends and family that I would never even know who isn’t cheering me on.

✨ I’m grateful to build connections with vendors who are passionate, heart-centered, and incredibly hard-working.

✨ I’m grateful for the new connections I get to make at every market.

✨ It feels surreal to have so many people support my work—and to have clients feel like friends as they’ve supported me for years and share beautiful stories about how my art is enjoyed in their lives.

Thank you for giving me so much love and gratitude in my life. I’m looking forward to the last three markets: Nov 30, Dec 7, and Dec 14, 11–4 🩷
