Our Story
Located on the beautiful shore of the St. Lawrence River in Grass Creek Park, the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum is your destination for hands-on building and discovery. A great place for schools and camps to visit for curriculum-based learning, the museum also offers workshops for entry level woodworkers, provides ready-to-make kits that are child friendly, and presents special events like the Lumberjack in June, Campfire Music Series on Thursday evenings, and Winterlight in December.
You are invited to bring a picnic lunch and explore Grass Creek Park and the museum from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-5pm from May 1 to September 2. We are also open late on Thursdays from 5pm-8pm, June 28 to August 30.
