NEW WORKS AT SOPA FINE ARTS
We’ve recently received new works from a multitude of our artists, so it’s like Christmas for us at SOPA, except in sweltering heat!

Get an early look at new work by Scott Bertram, Shawn Shepherd, Diana Creasy-Funk, and new Montreal sculptor Sebastien Gaudette! This is a tiny showcase of what has arrived, and we can’t wait to show the rest!

Come see these new works on our website, or next week at our Latest Opening on August 6th, 7-10 PM!

SOPA Fine Arts is proud to present two new exhibitions to close out this Summer!

Firstly, Material Thinking is Group Show looking at a range of different practices of artists from around Canada, and how the individual processes behind them lead to the creation of different languages and aesthetics, and delves into each artist’s psyche.

Featuring new works by Shawn Serfas, Diana Creasy-Funk, and Scott Bertram, Material Thinking also marks the SOPA debut of Toronto painter Alexander Rasmussen and Montreal sculptor Sébastien Gaudette.

Also opening will be SOPA SPOTLIGHT SS26! Featuring works from Micheal Adamson, Etienne Gelinas, Ulrich Panzer and more, we are excited to showcase works from Canada and the rest of the world from our represented lineup of Painters and Sculptors!

So come join us for the opening reception of both events on Thursday, August 6, 7:00–10:00 PM at the gallery. Several of the artists will be present including Alexander who is coming from Toronto, so explore the exhibitions, and learn how vastly different processes, techniques and rationale lead to satisfying works with unique aesthetics!
