A Big Thank You to everyone for checking our special exhibition in support of UBCO: Always In The Making!

We want to congratulate Stevie Poling for being the 2026 recipient of the Sopa Fine Arts Bursary Award and for all the participating students on this fantastic show.

Its so important to give new and upcoming talent in the Okanagan a Platform, and we believe here that the future for art is looking bright! Thank you again everyone.

We will be having a new installation in SPOTLIGHT for July, so keep an eye out for an announcement!

Thank you David and everyone for making it out to the Opening of Thresholds: A David Tycho Retrospective! We also want to thank David for the unique opportunity of showcasing his paintings from his archive, and we very much enjoyed the process of curating the paintings, and showcasing works from different parts of his career and life.

This show will be up until Early August, so come visit the Gallery, but don’t wait too long!

Our latest exhibition at SOPA features Vancouver painter David Tycho, whose work explores the energy and aesthetics of urban spaces.
With the recent Backrooms movie on our minds, we couldn’t help but notice the liminal, dreamlike visuals in his paintings, one of the many aspects of his works that we enjoy!
Join us this Thursday, June 4, from 7–10 PM, and also get to meet David in person!
So be there… and don’t fall into the Backrooms on the way in!

The show has an amazing reception from all who visited, whom we would like to thank as well, and we had such a great time showing Michael’s work, we can’t wait for what is to come in the future!
