Jasper Museum

Jasper Museum Jasper-Yellowhead Historical Society was founded in 1963. Jasper Museum opens daily from 10 am to 5 pm to Fall 2026.

The museum is made up of three galleries:
The Fred Kofin Gallery includes exhibits on the fur trade, the railways, early tourism, the park and its warden service, as well as the history of the town of Jasper itself. The exhibits in our Showcase & Alcove Galleries change several times a year. These galleries feature exhibits which are culturally and historically significant to the area.

Closing Reception Saturday Aug 29 at 6:30 pm
As the end of August approaches, it also brings the end to our summer exhibit by the Men Who Paint. All 5 artists will be here on Saturday, August 29th at 6:30 pm for a closing reception. Please join us for a refreshment, one last look at their beautiful art work, and some time to mix and mingle with this talented group of gentlemen.

For those keen artists out there, they are also offering a Paint Out with them at Horseshoe Lake on Sunday, August 30th. Meet at the parking lot at 10:00 am with your creativity, easel, paints and brushes for a chance to work with them on location!
