As the board and staff of the WDHS begin a strategic planning session in September, we are requesting community input. A survey – open to all community members – is open until September 15, 2026 at noon. If you have the time, please find it here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WDHS_Member_Survey

A survey was emailed August 27 to all 2025-26 paid members – if you are a member and have not received this, please check your spam folder. A hard-copy of the survey is also available at the museum. For those members do not have an email or live in the valley a copy will be mailed to you. Not a member and still want to provide some input, purchase or renew your membership now by contacting the museum, 250-342-9769.

Great News! The museum is going to have it's Annual General Meeting and you are invited. November 19, 2026 at 4:00 pm come to the museum basement to get updated on the year's activities.

The newly released book by Keith Powell on the history of the valley in pictures is available at the Windermere Valley Museum. Come get your copy and copies for your friends and family any day of the week from 10 to 4. We even take cash, cheque and all plastic (YES, we now have a Square for your shopping convenience). Can't make it right away, we can put a copy or two aside for you till you can come and visit us, just let us know in the comments section.
