The administration, on all levels, of the museum will be going over the goals of the facility in the form of Strategic Planning. We are wanting your input into what the museum will look like over the next 3 to 5 years by inviting you to fill out the survey below. As the board and staff of the WDHS begin a strategic planning session in September, we are requesting community input. A survey – open to all community members – is open until September 15, 2026 at noon. If you have the time, please find it here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WDHS_Member_Survey

A survey was emailed August 27 to all 2025-26 paid members – if you are a member and have not received this, please check your spam folder. A hard-copy of the survey is also available at the museum. For those members do not have an email or live in the valley a copy will be mailed to you. Not a member and still want to provide some input, purchase or renew your membership now by contacting the museum, 250-342-9769.

Great News! The museum is going to have it's Annual General Meeting and you are invited. November 19, 2026 at 4:00 pm come to the museum basement to get updated on the year's activities.
the Windermere District Historical Society is also looking for a Secretary for the board; if you are a team player with good communication skills and know Word and Excel this position is right for you. If you are interested or have questions, please let Deb Witherspoon know at [email protected].
