This is your last week to see "There is a Place" by Lorraine Jansen and "Mother Daughter" by Stella Koob and Rita Loehr.

Both of these stunning exhibits close on September 5th at the Humboldt and District Gallery, so if you've been thinking about purchasing one of their artworks, now is the time!

Thank you to all of you who have visited throughout the summer to support these artists.

Saturday, September 12 will be our 3rd annual Heritage Skills Revival Day and we are featuring three talented woodworkers from the Humboldt area!

Brian Stomp, who makes turned bowls from local woods like chokecherry and caragana, will be demonstrating his craft with a power lathe. Tyler Shaw will be demonstrating how to turn wood on a pole lathe, a human-powered machine that he built from a centuries-old design. Merrissa Karmark will show us the skill of green wood carving, and there will be a chance for everyone to give it a try!

This outdoor event is an opportunity to see these talented craftspeople at work, to enjoy some live blues from musician Ernie Kurz and to indulge in a little old-fashioned ice cream. Join us from 1pm to 4pm on September 12!

Let's give summer one last hurrah!

Join us just outside the Museum on September 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a tasty burger and some great live music from Lady Friday!

Our last BBQ and Boogie of the season is hosted by the St. Augustine Catholic Women's League and all the money raised goes towards their work in the community. See you there!

This week is the last week for drop-in Water Tower tours this season! Come by from 1:30pm to 4pm on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday and tour the Tower for $7.50 per adult or $5 per child.
