Fiber artist Cindy Hoppe, creator of this amazing piece "My Backyard", will be giving a silk and wool dyeing workshop in our backyard! She will show us how she dyes her silk and wool fabrics in an outdoor workshop in the parking lot behind the Museum, 602 Main Street, from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. this Saturday, May 30th. There are still a few spots available so take advantage of this excellent opportunity and call us to register: 306-682-5226. The cost is $35 or $31.50 for Gallery Members and all supplies are provided.

Explore the Original Humboldt site with a technique called visual mapping. Artist and educator Leane Harasymchuk merges art and science in a creative observation activity, using images, notes and diagrams to record the experience of a place.

Join us for a Visual Mapping and Nature Journaling workshop on Saturday, June 20th from 1-4 pm at Original Humboldt, 8 km west on Highway 5 and 3 km south on Telegraph Road. The cost is $25/person and all supplies are included. Call 306-682-5226 to register!

Learn how to dye silk and wool with fibre artist Cindy Hoppe!

There is still some room in her workshop happening from 10am to noon on Saturday, May 30.

It will be a unique experience outdoors in the parking lot behind the Museum, so come dressed for the weather. The cost is $35 or $31.50 for Gallery Members and all supplies are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own silk and wool fabric pieces and dyes.
