Q: What should I expect at a powwow?
A: A warm welcome. And, culture, community, and celebration.

The day begins with Grand Entry and continues with dancing, drumming, singing, food, vendors, and community celebration. New to powwows? Don't worry—the MC will guide everyone through the day and explain what's happening.

Q: What is regalia?
A: A dancer's regalia is a reflection of their identity, culture, and spirit. Many pieces are handmade and may contain beadwork, designs, and materials that hold personal, family, or cultural significance.

When attending a powwow, please be respectful and always ask permission before touching regalia or taking close-up photos of dancers.
