Sadly, the day has come to close our Skool Inn. Besides saying goodbye to our wonderful guests, from all over the world, we have to make a decision about our Historical Section of the Saskatchewan Flag. This is actually the hardest and saddest part for me. We will donate all 3 Saskatchewan Flags (the Jubilee Flag, the Fransaskois Flag and our Current Flag) to a Museum. We are not sure which Museum at this point.This is the Only place that has all 3 Flags signed by their Designers. This is what makes our Collection so special. Our Flag Story doesn't end here though. We still have the Jubilee celebration at the Legislature in September 2029. This is where we will open up the 10 year Time Capsule. I am in the process of writing a Book of our Flag Journey and all the special moments shared with Anthony Drake. A special thank you to Paul who took the time to create this article. He has always supported us and has a way of making our stories exciting.

Day 18, 2016. The final moment before Anthony Drake went on a plane back to England. My emotions were all over the place. I was Excited because I just spent 3 weeks with the Designer of the Saskatchewan Flag. I was Exhausted because I did all the planning, driving and recording of the daily events. I was Elated because Anthony had proper recognition for what he did 47 years earlier. I was Ecstatic because we became good friends, but at this moment in time, I was Heart Broken as I realized that I probably would never see Anthony Drake again... or would I??? .........

Day 18, 2016. Our Final Day of the Saskatchewan Flag Tour. We were lucky enough to meet up with Lionel Bonneville, the 2nd Designer of the Fransaskois Flag, at the Regina Airport. Last minute, but Lionel felt it was important to meet Anthony. Anthony had his picture taken, as our departing guest, at the Hodgeville Skool Inn, where he taught high school students in 1969. Then they took their luggage and walked away to get their flight back to England.

Day 17, 2016. Last stop on the Tour, Assiniboia. Visited the Prince of Wales Cultural Centre and gave a presentation at the Library. We also had lunch at the Shurniak Art Gallery and Bill Shurniak gave us a private tour and told us many stories. Anthony did his last public raising of his Flag.

Day 16, 2016. We went to Herbert and did a presentation at the school. Later we went to the Train Station and Mayor Doreen Schroeder had a beautiful cake made. We then went to the Chinese Restaurant and the owners made a beautiful presentation of fruit. Lastly, and sadly, it was our final day of filming, and we said our goodbyes to George Tsougrianis and Craig Chaplin.

Day 15, 10 years ago. Wanuskewin Park. First Nations Museum and Dig Site. We saw both and then a performance of a Native Dance where Anthony Drake was comfortable enough to join in. We also toured a Dig Site where they actually found an Artifact. The professor and Anthony chatted for quite a while about it. It was a fun afternoon.
