🍂New seasons, new faces: meet Kasia!

Kasia is our Assistant Manager this winter! Coming to us from Salmon Arm, BC, Kasia is enjoying meeting Hinton's kind people and exploring the trails around town. She'll be working on exhibit, program, artifact, and event projects with us. 😄

HOW MANY SKITTLES???

At the Town of Hinton 70th anniversary party, we challenged people to guess the numbers of Skittles in two jars! One represented the number of mill homes planned for the Valley in the 1950s, the other had the number that was actually built!
🥳 The large jar held 500 mill home Skittles, the smaller jar had 216! Luic and Mya are our winners: double shoutout to Luic, who actually guessed both numbers right- we decided to split the joy with Mya, the only other person who guessed the 216 Skittle jar!
