South Frontenac Museum Located in “the old limestone school” in Hartington at 5595 Road 38, the South Frontenac Museum houses many treasures from our area’s past.

South Frontenac Township and the Heritage Advisory Committee invite residents to a presentation by Dr. John Gray entitled "Bedford Mills: From Boom Town to Ghost Town in 100 years". Join us on Wednesday, October 8 at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm) at the Grace Centre (4295 Stage Coach Rd). This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about the history of South Frontenac.

Opening soon at the Red Brick School House in Elgin, ON👀📌📣

"The Historic Rideau Canal" features 67 remastered colour prints of the historic Rideau Canal from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The Rideau Canal is a series of rivers, lakes, channels and locks that form a continuous 202 km waterway from Kingston to Ottawa. Designed and constructed between 1826 and 1832, by Lt. Col. John by and his team, this engineering marvel is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Come aboard at the Red Brick School and navigate the historic Rideau Canal every weekend, 10am to 3pm, from June 28th through August 31st.
