'I Art Therefore I Am', a retrospective exhibition of works by Soozi Schlanger.

The work represents several decades of art making, exploration, social commentary, invention and reinvention…found object, mask, tape art and installation.

‘Each honest piece of art, in its own way, embraces and reflects the sum total of the artist’s emotional life – their observations – their reflections.’

‘Creativity is inherent in who we are as human beings – we just need to get out of our own way – and play.’

‘For me, creating a piece of art is not a linear event. It does not take place within a fixed time line. When people ask me, ’So, how long did it take you to make that?’- my answer is always, ‘All my life.’

LAST WEEK!!! Closing Sunday, July 5 the 2025-2026 Artist-in-Residence exhibtion: "In the End, In a Different Form", by Rachel Warwick.

Rachel Warwick will be in the gallery on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 pm, if you wish to have a guide around the show.

Saturday, July 4, from 1-4 pm, the artist will also be providing a workshop on Affinity Suite programs, a free digital program similar to Adobe. please RSVP via email to [email protected] (space is limited).
