It's that time of year again! We have some buildings to sell! As of October 1st at 9AM you can purchase your building for our light up the night! You will want to speak for your building early, because last year we SOLD OUT!
We are “selling” buildings to be decorated by your business/organization/family/or just you! The building will be ready for decorating starting on November 1, and you will have until judging on November 28 to perfect your masterpiece. Everyone that comes out to view will vote on their top 3.
Some ground rules:
**Lights are to be supplied by the participant. The Museum does not have lights to be used.
**Be respectful of the buildings. We understand that you have to secure the lights, but please avoid using nails or screws on the surface of the buildings.
**All lights must be LED as we have limited plugins to pull from and want to keep the power usage as reasonable as possible.
**The cost of “purchasing” a building is $25, and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. The main purpose of this is to ensure commitment. We will accept cash or e-transfer.
**The lights are NOT to be turned on until the night of November 28. We want to have the big reveal be the night of the event. If you want to see how your building looks in the dark we ask that you check it and then unplug again.
**Please DO NOT start decorating a building without contacting Corinne and providing payment in advance to ensure we don't have any buildings double booked.

Thank you to Mark Fecho and the gang for coming out to play on the bandstand tonight. The weather was in our favour and we had about 60 people come out to enjoy. What a great way to spend one of the last nights of summer!

What a fantastic 2026 Show and Shine!

A special thank you to the Hanna Municipal Library for doing kids zone activities, Western Financial for working out concession, and the Hanna Cruisers for their continued support, and The Wandering Lemon for selling lemonade and donating $1 from every sale to the museum!

258 people through and just over $1800 in donations!

Thank you to everyone that came out to support and all of our fantastic volunteers, we’ll see you again next year! But if you can’t wait a full year we will have a pancake breakfast August 8/26 at our car show!
