Westfield Heritage Village Conservation Area is both a living history museum and a conservation area. The buildings are nestled against the backdrop of 204 hectares of conservation land that features woodlands, meadows and trails. Visitors may enjoy hikes and walks 7 days a week. Throughout the year there are opportunities to see our volunteer interpreters provide demonstration and guided tours. Without refrigeration, the historic kitchens would have been a hive of activity, drying, salting and pickling food. Preserving food is enjoying a surge in popularity as people try to reduce food waste, save money and improve nutrition. Come see how techniques learned a century ago are still relevant today.

We’re baking cookies in our historic kitchens this weekend! 🍪

Visitors toured filming locations throughout Westfield connected to Anne of Green Gables, Anne with an E and Murdoch Mysteries, while photographs helped bring scenes filmed here back to life. Along the way, visitors may have even spotted a pair of familiar Bosom Friends! ❤️
