Something pretty spectacular happens here every summer on the fourth weekend in July...

People travel from all over to discover handcrafted Canadian art by 100 juried artists and artisans — but they leave with more than that.

A favourite piece. A conversation. A memory. A feeling they didn’t expect.

There’s something magical about spending a summer day surrounded by creativity.

Come experience it for yourself at the 63rd Annual Haliburton Art & Craft Festival.

📍Head Lake Park, Haliburton Highlands
📅 July 24, 25 & 26
Three beautiful summer days in the heart of cottage country.

✨✨✨

$5 admission provides you with unlimited entry all weekend. Under 15 are free.

All proceeds go to support Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre a not-for-profit organization devoted to bringing art to life in Haliburton.

There's a group of people who show up every year before the artists arrive, before the gates open, before visitors make their way into Head Lake Park...

And they do it because they love this festival that much.

Our volunteers are a huge part of what makes the Haliburton Art & Craft Festival feel like a community and not just an event.

From greeting guests to supporting vendors, from manning the info booth to helping with set-up and take-down, these are the people who make the weekend possible, and they always tell us it's one of the highlights of their summer.

We're looking for warm, enthusiastic people to join the team for July 24–26, 2026.

You don't need experience - just a genuine love for art, people, and the Haliburton Highlands.

Roles are available across the full weekend, and you can sign up for as much or as little as works for you.

If this sounds like your kind of summer weekend, we'd love to hear from you. ☀️

This summer in Head Lake Park, there's a little bit of everything and all of it made by hand, by Canadians, just for you.

Six categories of work from over 100 juried artists:

Ceramics and glass; fashion and accessories; fine woodworking; home, cottage and garden art; jewellery; visual art and sculpture; fine woodworking

The kind of range where you come looking for one thing and leave with something you never expected.

Something that ends up meaning more than you thought it would.

That's the thing about this festival. You can shop, yes. But mostly, you find.

July 24–26, 2026. Head Lake Park, Haliburton.

There are a lot of art festivals out there.
This one is different.

For 63 years, something has been happening in a lakeside park in the Haliburton Highlands.

Not a pop-up, not a trend.

A community that keeps showing up — artists, makers, and the people who love what they create.
Every artist here earned their spot.

The show is juried, the quality is real, handcrafted in Canada.

You won’t walk past a reseller or a print-on-demand booth. You’ll walk up to the person who threw the pot, stitched the textile, or carved the wood — and you can ask them anything.

The setting is Head Lake Park, with that particular kind of July light that makes everything look like it belongs at home.

$5 Weekend Pass.

This is the one that stays with you.
July 24–26, 2026. Haliburton, Ontario.
Come for the art. Stay for the feeling. ☀️

Every summer, 5,000+ people make their way to a park in the Haliburton Highlands. Not because they were asked.

Not because they had nothing else going on.

Because there's something that happens here that doesn't quite happen anywhere else.

You wander between the tents.
You stop at a table and pick something up.
The person who made it is standing right there, a Canadian maker who brought their best work, to this park, for this weekend.

$5 weekend pass.
July 24–26, 2026. Head Lake Park, Haliburton.
Come be part of it.

It's more than a festival. It's a community.
