Check out this photograph of Grimsby Village! Nelles Mills is in the foreground, then Mountain St. showing John H. Grout's house, as well as the Grout Foundry. (NE corner of Mountain & Elm.) This photograph provides an excellent early view of Grimsby showing both its residential style and its industrial features.

After a lengthy construction project, we are excited to announce that the Grimsby Museum will officially reopen to the public on TUESDAY, JULY 21st!

Beginning that day, our regular hours of operation will resume:

Tuesday–Friday: 10:00am–5:00pm
Saturday: 12:00pm–4:00pm

We can't wait to welcome everyone back! Stop by to explore our current exhibits and browse our gift shop

Our annual Summer Market scheduled this Saturday is CANCELLED due to ongoing air quality warnings and calls for rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. While this is a disappointing decision, the safety of our vendors, volunteers, staff, and visitors is our top priority.

Join us at the Grimsby Museum on Saturday, July 25th for drop in weaving workshop. This is an all ages welcome style drop in, and runs from 1:00pm–3:00pm. Stay for the whole afternoon or simply pop in. You are welcome to pick up your kit and work at home OR hang around the museum and work on it here.

Adults must remain with children for the duration of their visit.

This is an admission-by-donation event ($5 suggested donation). Pre-registration is required as kits are limited, but you may arrive at any point within the event timeframe.
