On est super fiers de commencer cette nouvelle saison en partenariat avec le festival Up Here!

𝐍𝐨 𝐄𝐱𝐢𝐭 :: Tarun Godara (Tarun)

𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘 : vendredi le 𝟭𝟰 𝗮𝗼𝘂̂𝘁 à 𝟭𝟳 𝗵

Limbo, une installation à grande échelle entièrement réalisée à partir de matériaux recyclés, explore l’enfermement silencieux lié à l’impossibilité d’avancer.

Inspirée de l’expérience personnelle de l’artiste, l’œuvre évoque le poids émotionnel d’être coincé dans des circonstances, des relations ou des lieux dont il semble impossible de s’échapper - des expériences auxquelles beaucoup peuvent s’identifier.

Construite à partir de matériaux délaissés, la sculpture donne forme à la résilience dans un contexte de stagnation - une vie assemblée dans l’attente d’un changement à venir. Qu’il y ait ou non une lumière au bout du tunnel, la détermination de s’en échapper un jour, elle, existe.

𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 : Friday, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟰 at 𝟱 𝗽.𝗺

A large-scale cardboard installation built entirely from recycled materials, Limbo explores the quiet imprisonment of being unable to move forward.

Inspired by the artist’s own experience, the work reflects the emotional weight of feeling trapped in circumstances, relationships, or places that seem impossible to escape. Experiences that many can relate to.

Constructed from discarded materials, the sculpture embodies resilience amid stagnation - a life pieced together while waiting for change that has yet to arrive. There may or may not be a light at the end of the tunnel here, but the determination you escape one day does exist.

La FAAS 8 est maintenant terminée!! Un immense merci à toutes les personnes qui sont passées, qui ont participé, performé, aidé, et partagé ce moment avec nous.

Merci aux artistes, bénévoles, partenaires et au public d’avoir transformé la rue, les véhicules et les espaces en lieux de rencontre, de création et d’expérimentation pendant toute la semaine.

On repart inspiré, épuisé, mais le cœur plein de joie. À la prochaine édition de la FAAS !
