Artist of the Month – Jacqueline Bauder
Jacqueline Bauder is a New Brunswick artist and the creator behind Outer Rim Homestead Creations. Although relatively new to painting, Jacqueline has quickly developed a distinctive style filled with bold colour, personality, and a sense of playfulness.
Working primarily in acrylic and watercolour, her subjects range from fashion, perfume and desserts to landscapes, florals and colourful contemporary pieces. She enjoys experimenting with different techniques, textures and unexpected colour combinations rather than limiting herself to one particular style or subject.
Music also plays an important role in Jacqueline’s creative process. Many of her paintings are titled using lyrics that connect with the feeling, story or inspiration behind the piece, adding another personal layer to the artwork.
For Jacqueline, painting began as a creative outlet but quickly grew into something much larger. In only a short time, her work has begun finding homes with collectors and being displayed in galleries, cafés and other local spaces throughout New Brunswick. She is passionate about making art approachable, creating connections within the community, and continuing to challenge herself with every new piece.
