Today was our last day of our fall school programs.

We enjoyed every class that came to visit us this fall and we can’t wait to see you all again for our spring programs!

It was a mixed emotion day today for the Demasduit Regional Museum.

Our little locomotive has left our lot and will now be on display at the Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Society.

It may be gone off our lawn but will still hold a special place during our chats and interactions with visitors!

Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

To help raise awareness about the residential school systems and their impact on Indigenous communities, the staff at the Demasduit Regional Museum will be wearing orange today.

We invite everyone to take some time today to learn and reflect.

We are OPEN today 9:00am - 4:30pm and we are offering FREE admission!

The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor is holding a Senior Wellness Show this fall, and we invite you to be a part of it!

🎉 FREE admission (residents from all communities welcome!)

✨ Featuring: Live entertainment by UC5, FREE healthy snacks, FREE tea and coffee from the Tim Horton’s Gazebo, prize draws, 40+ exhibitors and more! Plus, take home a FREE Town of Grand Falls-Windsor Community Wellness tote bag (while supplies last).

This event is specifically designed to provide information, resources, and services to older adults, typically those aged 55 and above. The Senior Wellness Show provides exhibitors a unique platform for people in the Exploits region to explore various products, services, and opportunities related to their health, lifestyle, and well-being.
