After researching the Cape Breton Miners Museum in their ESL class, Officer Cadets had the opportunity to visit the site, speak with a local miner, and connect their classroom learning to real-world experiences.

Well Capers not only did I drop the pulled pork but its started really coming down so unfortunately we're going to close down a little early today... a BIG THANK YOU to the Cape Breton Miners Museum for having us out we love being here and we'll be back again soon. Oh no. This is going to be a brutal shift....

​Unfortunately, we had a devastating kitchen accident this morning (and by "we," I mean ME and my gravity-challenged hands 🤣). Long story short: the pulled pork decided it preferred the floor over the bun today. RIP. 😢
