💛 Welcome Back! Come down to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Molly's Reach building this Saturday, May 30 from 10am-4pm. The street party will take place in Molly's Lane, and we will have a Museum table set-up. Come say hello! The Town of Gibsons will also be unveiling the restored Persephone . Check out this fantastic model of Molly's Reach, loaned to the Museum by Jake Swaney to celebrate this special anniversary!

Look who dropped by!

Tomorrow Frank Nakashima will be giving a talk at the opening of Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society's new exhibit. He is an amazing storyteller! Visit Sarah Wray Hall for the opening to hear his family's story and those of the other local Japanese Canadians that lived in kalpilin Pender Harbour.

This Saturday, May 23, the Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society is launching their part of the Japanese Canadian Community Histories exhibit series!

Visit their location at Sarah Wray Hall to explore the histories of early Japanese Canadians from kalpilin Pender Harbour, including stories of the Ikeda, Kayahara, and Kawasaki families who lived here before 1942.
