As Remembrance Day approaches, we invite you to join us for a meaningful evening of stories, remembrance, and reflection at the Fort Frances Museum & Cultural Centre.

🕯️ A SPECIAL PRESENTATION
Join us for an evening featuring Armand, a Veteran guest speaker, who will share personal insight into the challenges and experiences faced by the families of Canadian soldiers.

This presentation will be held in conjunction with our mini exhibition, “Echoes of Absence: The War at Home,” exploring the often-unseen sacrifices, challenges, and strength of the families who waited for their loved ones to return home.

❤️ YOUR STORIES MATTER, TOO!
We warmly welcome visitors to share their own stories and family histories connected to wartime experiences. Whether you have stories passed down through generations, memories of loved ones who served, or experiences of life on the Homefront, we invite you to be part of the conversation. Every story helps preserve our community's history and ensures these important memories are not forgotten.

🏛️ Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore our separate exhibition celebrating 100 Years of the Royal Canadian Legion, located in the Temporary Exhibition Gallery.

🌺 Admission is free, and free-will donations to the museum are gratefully welcomed.

Join us for this special evening as we honour Canada's veterans, recognize the sacrifices made by military families, and remember the stories that connect us all.

Step back in time and experience the flavours of the Homefront during wartime! 🕰️

Join us at the Fort Frances Museum & Cultural Centre for a unique culinary experience featuring delicious recipes inspired by the ration years of the World Wars.

Along with a taste of history, guests will learn about wartime rationing, how families made the most of limited ingredients, and how Canadians adapted their everyday lives on the Homefront.

❤️ As Remembrance Day approaches, this is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices, resourcefulness, and resilience of those who lived through the war years while connecting with history in a deliciously memorable way.
