Saddened to say my dad passed away April 2, 2026 at the age of 110. He would have been 111 on April 14, 2026. Thanks for the memories. Will miss you and your wisdom, your laughter and until we meet again. Thank you for your service and Rest In Peace.

We lost two charter members of the Fort Erie LaFrance Association firefighting museum in 2025.

Lubert Doornekamp

Both were instrumental in helping create the museum back in 1983 and many years after a big part of the association. Both firefighters with Fort Erie Station 2. Thank You to both and may you rest in peace.
