The Forest Museum

The Forest Museum There's no better place to learn about our community's history than Forest Museum! Forest Museum is located in the old Forest Home Bakery on Main St.

You are invited to drop by and step back in time to explore the history of our community. Our displays feature topics such as the Forest Excelsior Band (the longest running civilian band in Canada), the Grand Trunk Railway, doctors of Forest, local businesses, churches and schools, agriculture and much more. Whether you are an occasional visitor to Forest, or you walk its streets everyday, please

Memberships may be purchased at our museum at 8 Main Street North in Forest. We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 to 4.

We will happily mail your membership card to you if you can't make it to the museum. With this option you may either do an e-transfer to [email protected] OR mail us a cheque made out to "The Forest-Lambton Museum Society".

We are proud to be affiliated with Donate A Car Canada . To see how easy it is to find a new home for your old wheels and also support our museum, go to https://sites.google.com/view/forest-museum/donations.

Donate a Car Canada processes vehicle donations for any charity in Canada. Donated vehicles are re-sold or recycled and the net proceeds from either process are sent to the donor's charity of choice. The donor receives a tax receipt. Vehicles can be donated online (www.donatecar.ca), or over the phone (1-877-250-4904). The tow is always free!
