The Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery acknowledges that it carries out its work on the traditional unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’kmaq and Peskotomuhkati peoples. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which these nations first signed with the British Crown in

1726. The treaties did not deal with the surrender of lands and resources, but in fact recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations. The Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery (ALMAG) is a non-profit community Gallery operating on the banks of the Wolastoq River in Florenceville-Bristol. Presenting a full calendar of exhibitions annually, the ALMAG features a broad spectrum of art.

Join Michelle Landry for an afternoon spent felting a 3D frog with a little teddy bear! Made up with core wool, wire armature for the arms, and mounted on a wood slice, this little guy is too cute to not create! The scarf will be provided (made up by Michelle prior) or it can be made by you, knitted, before or after the workshop.
