The Esterhazy Museum features general antiques, pioneer artifacts, firearms collection, local photos and memorabilia, country store, and doctor's room. Visit the room of painted murals by local artist Jocelyn Duchek, depicting the development of Esterhazy.

This was the start of Tristar in Esterhazy, it has evolved over the years and is now a Petro-Canada gas station with 6 pumps, Subway, T.J’s Pizza, convenience store and car wash.
Can’t imagine the building only being 8’ deep originally, but Dave agrees it was. This opening celebrates an expansion of the service bays. The original building held just a small store north of the gas pumps.

Way back in the early days of Esterhazy tennis was an important pastime. People arrived in town on the morning train just to play tennis, hopping on the afternoon train to return home later in the day. This shows that the tennis court was on Esterhazy Street where the Beckton house is now. The building on the right was a boarding house built by Vernon Flook, our postmaster.

Sometimes we like to share what is collectible in the antique collectors market, and there is nothing more sought after of late than glass hens on nests. These were first produced in the 1800’s, and were for a utilitarian kitchen use, such as storing eggs. Later their use shifted to candy dishes, to store trinkets and even the little ones as salt cellars. They are still made today and come in a great variety of colours and sizes and are frankly just adorable.
