🎉10 years of Celebrating our Story🎉

With Family Day around the corner we just wanted to give everyone a heads up of Heritage Week! The Wonderful town of Essex has been Celebrating Heritage Week for the last 10 years!

We are hosting our annual Family Day Event
🚜Monday Feb 16 10:30am-2:30pm.
🚜Hot dogs/Chips/Coffee/Hot Chocolate.
🚜Tours and People Mover, weather permitting.
🚜Kids Colour Station

*Note* everything has been generously donated by members and sponsors so make sure to come for a drink and meal while supplies last!

Look at all that snow! Glad we were able to get the buildings winterized.

Thanks to the members who helped out yesterday with blowing out the waterlines and making sure all the water hoppers were empty, we pulled out our own Ingersoll Rand from the museum to help us with the task.

Ingersoll Rand's history in air compressors dates to 1871 with the Ingersoll Rock Drill Company and the 1872 Rand Drill Company, which introduced the portable air compressor. The two companies merged in 1905 to form Ingersoll-Rand. Key milestones include introducing the first directly-connected, electric motor-driven compressor in 1890, entering the centrifugal compressor business in 1911, and launching the Type-30 compressor in 1929.
