What an honour to be asked to create the artwork for this years Roots & Revival !!
I use my artwork to help raise awareness for the importance of wildlife protection and conservation, capturing the beauty of the creatures we share this planet with.
~The Bald Eagle symbolizes freedom, strength and resilience ~ 🦅
In the 1980's the use of pesticides and pollution almost led to the extinction of these birds, with no chicks surviving in the 3 remaining active nests along the Lake Erie shore.
Since then, thanks to protection and active conservation, the population have started to increase and successfully breed, leading to the wild revival of this magnificent bird ❤️
