Showcasing one of my favorite buildings: the Herndon House! This was home to a family of 8, they had 5 daughters and 1 son. My favorite part of the Herndon House is how the artifacts are set up. They are placed in a way that shows how the Herndon family lived and used their home —from the deck of cards on the table, to the sewing nook on the second floor.

After a fantastic first Museum Explorer Day, EPBR and the Drayton Valley Museum are teaming up again on August 20 for another FREE day of exploring, creating and discovering!

Our little explorers will get to experience history, nature and plenty of hands-on fun right on the museum grounds.
