Dawn and I spent the day today as exhibitors at Carstairs Aggie Days. Today was for school kids to come down and learn about agriculture and farm producers.

We had a wonderful time chatting with the kids about honeybees. You could definitely tell some of the kids had recently learned about honeybees, and even the ones who hadn't showed so much excitement with all the intelligent questions they had for us.

We are so looking forward to the open day tomorrow and sharing our passion with a whole new group of adults and children.

8 years and I think I finally found a mix that works. I totally believe this to be the hardest thing about Beekeeping. Lit it at 3 this afternoon and she is still smoldering 4.5 hours later. I will have to try again to make sure I am on track.
