The Rolph, Buchanan, Wylie and McKay Historical Society is once again preparing for its popular Spring Pie Sale in support of the School House Museum in Laurentian Hills.
Our pie team will be busy in the museum kitchen throughout the coming weeks, carefully preparing homemade pies using traditional recipes. The fundraiser has become a well-anticipated annual event, helping support the preservation and operation of the historic museum.
This year, six varieties of 9-inch pies will be available: Blueberry, Raspberry, 4 Berry-Blend, Cherry, Raisin, and Rhubarb. All pies are sold unbaked and frozen, allowing customers to bake them fresh at home. Baking instructions are provided. Each pie is priced at $20.00.
Orders will be taken starting April 29. Community members are encouraged to place orders early, as quantities are limited. To order, call Heather at 613-401-7557.
Pre-ordered pies can be picked up on two scheduled dates: Saturday, May 16 and 30, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the School House Museum, located at 35753 Highway 17 in Laurentian Hills.
