With an Abundance of Thanks!

What a great way to wrap up the season at the Wollaston Museum & Heritage Centre.

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Bush Camp Pig Roast & Children’s Activity Day on Saturday, September 5.

We’d especially like to thank those who generously donated their time, talents, and supplies to help make the day possible: Jack Ingram for taking care of the pig roast, The Monarch Café in Coe Hill for donating the coleslaw, Miles and Solomon for treating us to some of their musical talent, and Vera for donating the marbles for our guessing contest and the carpet for our outdoor stage, which got lots of use from some very enthusiastic young friends!

Congratulations to Kirsti O., who won the Guess the Marbles in the Jar contest with a guess of 300. The actual total was 307!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, visited the museum, purchased books, donated, and helped make the day such a success.

We appreciate your support of the Wollaston Museum & Heritage Centre.

We look forward to seeing you next season for more new and exciting activities!

Congratulations to Carol Dahlquist of Wollaston Lake, winner of our Forest of Flowers 2026 quilt raffle!

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, the raffle raised $1,640 for the Wollaston Museum & Heritage Centre.

This beautiful quilt was custom made and donated by local quilters Wendy Mortimer of Coe Hill and Carol Moore of Bancroft, with long-arm quilting by Mandie Eddie of Coe Hill Quilts.

Thank you to everyone who supported the raffle and helped make it such a success.

The Coe Hill Fair is coming up this weekend, Friday and Saturday, August 28 and 29!

Be sure to stop by the Wollaston Museum & Heritage Centre booth for your last chance to get your 50/50 and quilt draw tickets, with proceeds from both helping to support the Museum.

Both draws will be held at 6 PM on Saturday at the close of the fair.

We’ll also have a selection of our local history booklets available for sale, so be sure to have a look while you’re there.
