We've got a new sign on our museum, along with some new-to-us reclaimed barnboard. And, as always, the beautiful mural created by community members under the direction of Sheila Ottonen. We look forward to seeing visitors from near and far this summer on weekend afternoons. Stay posted for special events!

📣 SAVE THE DATE! 📣

The Wollaston Heritage Centre is planning a Community Yard Sale on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.!

Come browse for treasures up at the Museum AND on the grounds across from the grocery store beside the LCBO.

🌭 BBQ Lunch 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

We are currently accepting donations for the sale. If you have clean, gently used items you would like to contribute, donations are gratefully accepted.

The Wollaston Museum and Heritage Centre in Coe Hill needs your vote! We’ve entered the McDougall Insurance Community Contest in the hope of some much-needed funding for our museum projects. Our two-minute video submission is now online. The voting period runs from May 23 to May 30. Anyone can vote once per day, using Google Chrome or Fire Fox. (Internet Explorer and Safari are not compatible with the contest platform.) Vote early! Vote often! (What we mean is, make it a daily habit!)

Come out, catch up, and see what’s been happening at the museum — we’ll have coffee, tea, and snacks ready for you.

And… rumour has it there might be donuts, and PIE!
