If you're looking for a way to beat the heat AND the smoke, come visit the Museum! We've got air conditioning and plenty to look at! The August scavenger hunts and quiz are ready and Breanne's picked out loads of awesome prizes! Not to mention some cool stuff in the gift shop if you're so inclined (never too early to be thinking about gifts!)

Chase Cornstock is here! The Museum is a participating host venue for a local artist and we'll have a food truck at Music on the Lake on August 11th selling hot buttered corn on the cob!

We've got a new artisan in the gift shop! Please Welcome Megan Gros (Megan Gros Designs) and her chainmaille and scalemaille pieces!

There's a variety of colours, styles, and materials in earrings and necklaces, ranging from $25 - $40.
There's also beautiful sun catchers for $20 each, cute zipper pull keychains at $8 each, and exclusive "Chase" keychains with your choice of silver, blue, or rainbow chainmaille! ($12 each)

Breanne could use some help in her research of World War II veterans. If you know of any who were Living in Chase at the time of their enlistment or were a member of any of the local Bands at the time of their enlistment, please comment below or contact the Museum!

Breanne is already in contact with the Chase Legion (Dan McLean) and Georgia Jules (Indigenous veterans) and we three are sharing information already.

We've got some new items from Anne Wowchuk in the gift shop! So many beautiful pens to choose from and there's even a flashlight! Any would make an amazing gift for a friend (or for yourself)! There's even a few that say "Chase" on them!

We've got a new artisan in the gift shop! Please welcome AMFX and their handmade goods! All lovingly sewn in Blind Bay, B.C.!

There's placemat & napkin sets in a few different patterns to match your indoor or outdoor seating!

We've got one table runner as well with a yellow, blue, and pink heart pattern!

There's kitchen aprons in a few different themes, perfect for the cook or baker in your life!

There's a couple ballet-themed drawstring bags, great for storing dance shoes and other accessories!

There's also some standard-size pillowcases in a variety of patterns, great for those visiting kids or grandkids, or snag one for camping or at the cabin!

Lastly, we've got some short sleeve button-up shirts for men and women! Each has a fun patterned insert, covering a range of interests/hobbies. There's a lot of fishing, car, and motorcycle ones right now. There's even a hockey one in 2XL! Great for a Chase Heat fan! Current stock ranges from L-3XL for men and only XL for women. However, AMFX has a range of colours, sizes, and themes! Just give them a call or send an email to ask about what you're interested in!
