Locurator was built right here on Prince Edward Island, inspired by the artists, small businesses, and creative spaces that make this place what it is.

PEI has an incredible creative community — but too often their work is hidden or under-supported. Locurator exists to change that by placing local art into local spaces: cafés, studios, hotels, offices, and short-term rentals across the Island.

We believe art should be:
Seen and lived with — not stored away
• Fairly compensated
• Rooted in the communities it comes from

By connecting PEI artists with PEI venues, we’re building something that keeps creativity circulating locally — supporting artists, enhancing spaces, and strengthening our cultural economy.

If you’re an artist, a business owner, or someone who loves this Island and believes in supporting local — welcome. Locurator is just getting started, and we’re excited to grow it here, first.

✨ A little about why we built Locurator ✨

Hi, I’m Isabelle.

Locurator started as a feeling I couldn’t shake.

As an artist, I’ve spent years creating work I care deeply about — and just as much time trying to figure out where it actually belongs. Galleries can feel out of reach. Online spaces are crowded. And too often, art ends up hidden away instead of being seen, lived with, and valued.

At the same time, I kept noticing beautiful spaces around me — cafés, studios, hotels, homes — that felt generic, like they were missing a touch of something human. Something creative.

Locurator grew from that gap.

I wanted to build something that respected artists, paid them fairly, and placed their work into real spaces where people already gather. A way for art to exist in everyday life — not behind closed doors or collecting dust in basements.

This is still a work in progress. I’m learning as I go, listening carefully, and building Locurator with intention. I care deeply about getting this right — for artists, for venues, and for the communities we’re part of.

If you’re an artist who’s ever wondered where your work fits, or a business owner who believes art makes spaces feel alive — I’m really glad you’re here.
