Saturday Saturday Saturday! On TikTok and IG.

Nharo is doing our first remote live, from the road, ever! I am in Montreal, Quebec at my friend’s place.

We dabbled with guest spots on our live sales in Tucson with great success so this is the next level.

We are anticipating a stellar sale with items starting from the tens of dollars up to the thousands. We will be spending a whole day curating the crystals and specimens we think you will love.

Look for a wide range of Canadian and worldwide minerals including:

So far we have already found some cool garnets, fluorites in all colours, funky pyrites, we have customers who like barite: we got.

We will it run out of some fresh, some vintage and some truly rare mineral specimens.

This warehouse is deep and you can write requests in the comments.

Nharo is pleased to announce we have acquired the Congo Suite of the Anka and Uli Bahmann collection.

Uli and Anka are very private people but they are well known in the world of Mineral Collecting. Pictures of their specimens are seen in the and many books about African minerals.

I had a short discussion with Uli about why it would be nice to see and hear him.

It was a very difficult and poignant moment to take away a collection he had built over years.

We will be displaying some of the approximately 650 pieces of DR Congo Minerals at the Tucson Gem Show. We are in Room A6, Building A at Mineral City from now to Feb. 14.

The collection is many exquisite Malachites, Shattuckite and Chrysocolla pseudomorphs. There are cuprites and many many more, primarily from the Mashamba west mine.

Uli used his keen eye to select the best available over the years.

Moussa is a humble man who will not tell you that he is a UNESCO Prize winner or that he has pieces in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian.

We have the crystals we bought in Zambia at the warehouse now .

We did a three day binge of buying crystals in Lusaka. Lusaka is a cross roads in Africa with roads leading to Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and Malawi. Did I miss any?

We will be featuring many new crystals on Saturday.

Warm wishes from us here at Nharo to the paying customers of 2025.

We have been busy running live sales throughout the year and despite the idyllic and chill vibes we are streaming with purpose. We want to get paid.

I know we talk about zen and chakras but I promise, even us hippy types, we want to get paid.

I started the company around 2003 and to be honest it wasn’t initially viable.

My father used to clip job ads from the newspaper and hand them to me. Hint hint…

I should have quit a number of times but I am pretty stubborn.

The goal was to travel to Africa and find cool stuff to buy. It wasn’t always just crystals.

I used to buy masks, carvings, beads and all sorts. But crystals took over.

Phewww, the results are almost in and no matter what you think about 2025: We made it.

I want to tell you that next year is gonna be easier or better but the best thing we can do is to keep going.

Should we clean it off or leave it alone?

I was thinking of taking off the minerals on the outside of this fluorite crystals but then I lit them up with a long wave UV.

The fluorescent green is Hyalite and the Pink is Feldspar.

This fluorite crystal was mined less than two weeks ago in Namibia.

Happy Holidays to everyone.

We are winding down a great year and will be bringing out some amazing crystals to close out.

Most of our team are off but we will muster a couple weekday, daytime lives on Monday and Tuesday.

We won’t be holding back and will be pulling out the new fluorites from Erongo, Indicollite and pink tourmaline, Olmiite, and very fluorescent manganocalcite as well.

I hope you are off work and can sit and enjoy the show with us!
