Located in Carman's beautiful King's Park, this local community museum is committed to preserving local history and creating a space where history can be enjoyed by all ages. The Dufferin Historical Museum includes a main building displaying several exhibits such as a farming display, General Store, various Indigenous artifacts, and much more. Two additional buildings have been added: the Sexsmith

-Morgan Log House built around 1875, and the Boyne School building, originally opened as a school and multipurpose community building in 1878.

Our 4th Annual Duck Race Fundraiser will be held on July 8, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. on 1st Avenue N.W. in Carman. Duck numbers are now available for $5 each.
We will be at the Homestead Co-op on Friday, May 22 and on Saturday June 27th to sell duck tickets.
We will have tickets available for sale at the Museum on June 6th during the Town Wide Garage Sale and we will be at the Farmer's Market on Friday, June 26th.
Tickets are also available at Toew's Printing and Natina's Massage and Reflexology.
Get your tickets soon as we sold out by the beginning of July last year!
Thank you to everyone who is supporting the Dufferin Historical Museum. The funds from this fundraiser go towards many projects at the museum.

NASA just launched humans to the Moon for the first time in 53 years...

And within hours, the toilet broke. ๐Ÿ˜…

The Artemis 2 crew reported a jammed fan in Orion's waste system shortly after launch. Mission Control got to work, and astronaut Christina Koch ran the fix herself.

Result? Toilet: โœ…
Mission: back on track.

Even on the most historic space mission of our generation... sometimes nature calls at the worst time.
