This is a commissioned painting I just sent to its owner.
They're passionate about dogs, cats, and farm animals.
When they asked me to paint a chicken, I wanted to set it free: surrounded by green grass, grazing without limits across the mountain prairies. Like a wild chicken under the blue sky of Mountains spring.
I love nature and the mountains so much that I couldn't help turning a domestic animal into wildlife.

When I First came to Canada, I was driven to the mountains, without knowing this place would be home.
I felt guided to this place from the very beginning.
Something woke up in me, a strange feeling of belonging, and images coming from my mind as if they were memories.
I was surprised, this was for me the first time in this land, how could I have memories, how could the landscape feel familiar? I'm coming trom Andorra, where mountains keep you from seeing the horizon
For me it's always been a game to draw lines connecting mountain ridges, until I met the vastness of this land.
And in this vastness something was missing to me. When I started reading to understand the past of this land, it quickly came back to me, again this strange feeling of knowing. The Bison.
I still don't know how, or why, but I immersed myself in painting a Bison.
And this is what came out.
It really feels different to stand in front of it, but I share it for you all to enjoy.

I stopped loosing good ideas, when I started taking care of them. Avoiding to get lost in the mind, our minds are too busy, pay attention to worth full thoughts.

The number 4 carries a quiet power across traditional cultures
It represents balance, structure, and the foundation of life itself.
4 seasons shaping the rhythm of the land.
4 elements: earth, water, air, fire, forming all that exists.
4 directions guiding movement and orientation in the world.
It's not random. It's a pattern humanity has always recognized.
In my paintings, this symbolism is always present. Sometimes visible, sometimes hidden - grounding each piece in something deeper than the image itself. A connection to the land, to cycles, to something ancient that still speaks today.
If you look closely, you'll start to see it.
