It is with great sadness that the Zyp Art Gallery announces the passing of our founder Dr. Nhung Tran Davies on April 28, 2026. Nhung fought a very brave battle with cancer, but God had other plans for her. To honour her memory may you help those less fortunate, perform an act of kindness or plant a beautiful garden that looks like a Monet painting as these things brought her great joy.

Nhung was a very big supporter of the arts in our community. Through her generosity and efforts many artists have been given the opportunity to promote their art through the Zyp Art Gallery. Nhung also promoted young talent and sponsored many young writer’s competitions, as well as many children’s art competitions.

Our hearts and thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.

Nhung leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and generosity that will never be forgotten. 🌺💐❤️
