On Saturday August 22 we welcomed guests to come and celebrate the opening of "Painting Bold and Brave", an art exhibition by Carol Griese. It was a wonderful afternoon full of art lovers and family and friends of the artist and it was fantastic to see so much support for the arts community. The show is still on display until September 19 and we are open Tuesday to Saturday from 10-5pm (but not this coming Tuesday, we will be closed for the holiday) and the gallery is always free! So pop by and check out some wicked abstract pieces!

On Saturday August 22 we welcomed guests to come and celebrate the opening of "Painting Bold and Brave", an art exhibition by Carol Griese. Tomorrow! Coffee and Conversation features a talk on Quintland: Now and Then, a look at how the area where the Dionne Quintuplets were born transformed into a tourist destination that rivalled Niagara Falls in the 1930s and 1940s.

Two announcements!

The first is that Saturday (tomorrow) is the last day to see "The Art of Small Joys"! You should definitely pop by and check it out!

Tomorrow's installment of Coffee and Conversation will be all about the Railway years of Callander! Please be aware: due to the water main break we currently have no running water. There is a chance we won't have water in the morning and so we won't be able to make coffee :( hopefully we will though! Oh and it's free and starts at 10:30 :)
