We’re thrilled to introduce May Jones as TRUCK’s new Gallery Coordinator!

May Jones (she/her) is an artist and arts worker based in Mohkinstsis/Calgary, Alberta. Her artistic practice focuses largely on chronic illness and invisible disability, using her own lived experiences as a way of talking about illness, care, loss, and advocacy.

May earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Alberta University of the Arts in 2024. Since graduating, she has worked across Calgary’s arts community in a variety of roles including exhibition preparation and artwork fabrication. Alongside this work, May is a co-founder of Crawlspace Gallery, a DIY artist-run gallery and studio space focused on creating opportunities, exhibition space, and professional development for early-emerging artists.

Please join us in welcoming May to the team!

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is taking place on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (MDT)! At this AGM, we will be reflecting on the past year at TRUCK, setting a date for a Special General Meeting (SGM) to review our financial statements, and voting in new board members. This is a hybrid meeting happening in person at TRUCK and online via Zoom.
