Eighty one years ago today, HMCS Trentonian (K 368) was struck by a torpedo starboard aft and sank just 12 miles east of Falmouth. One officer and five ratings were lost. The survivors including eleven wounded were rescued by British Fairmile motor launches. We remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the heavy cost paid by those who served.
We will never forget.
