Join Sierra, PAMA educator and resident ceramic artist, for a 4‑week journey into hand‑built clay beginning July 9. Each session builds on new skills, moving from strong foundations toward more confident forms.

Between classes, participants are encouraged to explore the exhibitions and let the galleries spark ideas as their practice takes shape. Spaces are filling and you won’t want to miss "Hand‑built clay: From basics to beyond".

Today, PAMA acknowledges National Indigenous Peoples Day. It is a time to recognize and celebrate the traditions, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

National Indigenous Peoples Day is observed on the summer solstice, as this day holds deep cultural and spiritual significance, marking a time of renewal, connection, and celebration.

We honour the abundant histories, knowledge, and living cultures of Indigenous communities across Peel Region, and encourage continued learning, reflection, and respect today and every day.

Registration is open for the 10th Annual Live Art Competition!

Join PAMA, and the Live Art planning team, in celebrating a decade of creativity in Downtown Brampton. On August 22, artists from across Canada transform the downtown core into a vibrant, open-air canvas.

Live Art is open to both Youth (13–17) and Adult (18+) categories and early bird registration is on now until July 16. You don’t want to miss your chance to save!

“Still Life, Still Living: Clay Vessel Workshop”invites you to explore memory, identity, and place through hand-built clay vessels.

Led by Hibah Mian, Curator of Dreamland, with guidance from PAMA Educator Sierra, this workshop reflects on how everyday objects carry extraordinary meaning. Join us June 27.

This July, there are two opportunities to get creative with PAMA and Brampton Library.

Dive into ocean-inspired storytelling on July 7 with our Story and Art Making session. Your littles can enjoy the book “I Hear You, Ocean” and create their own abstract art.

Then, the big kids can level up their creativity with Pixel to Print, on July 9. You can design a digital character, bring it to life, and make your own tote bag using the library’s makerspace.

Both programs are FREE, so be sure to register because you don’t want to miss out.

We are excited have Brampton Folk Club showcase their talent at PAMA and get summer kicked off right!

Come join us at Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) next Thursday (June 11th) for a marvellous evening of folk music inside the courthouse from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Our concert theme is "Pushing the Boundaries - Thinking Outside the Box", and we've got two of the 's most creative performers, Jamie Reilly and Celteclectic, for this exciting double bill. The concert is free with admission to PAMA, and there is plenty of free parking on the street and at Brampton City Hall. Hope to see you there!
