Today we’re spotlighting Conrad Bobiwash and one of the wildlife-inspired works featured in our Summer Art Show & Sale.

“Banase” — meaning sound coming from wings — features a ruffed grouse, known locally as a partridge. His set of mirrored images are especially significant as they were among the first screen prints Conrad ever created.

✨It’s Sculpture Sunday!✨

Today we’re spotlighting Brittany Astles and her beautiful glasswork.

Born and raised in Blind River and now living in Ottawa, Brittany discovered glassblowing in 2017. She was drawn to the way colour reacts to the intense heat of the furnace and how light moves through different forms of glass.

No two pieces are ever quite the same — and that’s part of the magic of glassblowing!

It’s Sketch-It Saturday! Today we’re spotlighting Heather Stewart, a Blind River artist and musician whose work is full of experimentation, storytelling and imagination.

Heather works across a variety of mediums, including 35mm film and alternative photography, and draws inspiration from nature, fantasy, music and the everyday moments around us.
