With fall time around the corner, it’s important that we acknowledge all of the help and engagement we’ve received this summer. Thank you so much to all of our staff, volunteers, and community for your involvement! 🎉

On a completely separate note, our barbecue this Friday (the 4th) is cancelled due to the impending rain. But, from 11:30-1:00 on Monday (the 7th) 🌭 our last barbecue will take place before we close up for the season!

We are proud to announce a developing display called “Women of Nova Scotia”. 🍎 🍏 Upstairs a map can be located that pinpoints where historical figures originate in the maritimes,⚓️ as well as a breakdown of their influence.

As this display is interactive, we welcome visitors to write down 🖋️ (or leave a comment) of a woman that you would like on the map. 🗺️ Thanks, and have a great day!

Friday hot dog sales are back up and running!Feel free to stop by anytime from (11:30 to 1:00) in front of the museum, where you can purchase one hot dog for $2, two for $3, as well as a cold beverage for $1. Please keep in mind that we only accept cash, and we look forward to seeing you!

Good morning folks!! Upstairs there is an empty that we’re planning to set up a display in. If anyone has any 1930s or 1940s classroom supplies (e.g., desks, chalk board, etc.) that you are seeking to get rid of or donate, we would be overjoyed to make an agreement for drop-off.
