Glanmore National Historic Site

Glanmore was built in 1883. Designated in 1969 for exemplary Second Empire Architecture.

Operating hours are:
June, July, August - Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 4:30 pm
September to May - Tuesday to Sunday from 1 pm to 4:30 pm

There is a small admission fee.

Trailblazing women! Constable Lynda Salisbury, Constable Elizabeth Comeau and Constable Daryl Wagar, seen here in the 1980s, were some of the first female police officers to serve with the Belleville Police. The intial uniform included a skirt and heels in the spring, summer and fall and boots and ski pants in the winter months.
