PART 3: This is how we’re going to do it. ❤️
When something goes wrong at the museum, there are people and businesses in our community that really step up.
Rooted and Northgate Electric are two of those businesses.
They are the kind of people who step up, pitch in and help us figure it out—again and again.
And we are incredibly grateful. ❤️
The truth is, the South Peace Centennial Museum has never just belonged to the people who work or volunteer here.
It belongs to this community.
For more than 50 years, people have donated their time, their skills, their equipment, their money and sometimes just a really good pair of work gloves and a willingness to help. 😂
That’s how this place has survived.
And we believe that’s how we’re going to get through this Next Big Thing too.
We still have approximately $150,000 to raise before we can start and complete the upgrades to our water, sewer and electrical infrastructure.
That’s a big number.
But then we look around at the incredible community we live in—and it doesn’t feel quite so impossible.
Everyone doesn’t have to do everything. We just need a whole lot of people willing to do something. ❤️
So today, we simply want to say THANK YOU to Rooted and Northgate Electric for being two businesses that continue to show us what supporting your community is all about.
We’re pretty lucky to call this place home.
And together, we’re going to make sure there’s still a museum here for the generations who will call it home next. ❤️
